    2. It is about a boy named Foster and his widowed mother in Alabama. The father has just recently died and the mother has a man friend whom Foster dislikes greatly. Then a stranger shows up and stays to help fix up the farm so they can sell it. There is some violence in it but it was very enjoyable.

    1. Kaitlyn, I haven't been keeping track of the number of books I've read. I just have three or four going at the same time, and every night I pick the one that sparks my fancy at the moment and read it for an hour or so before I go to sleep. My days have been very busy this summer, so I haven't spent as much time reading outside as I normally like to do....but there's still time!! Right now I am rereading one of my all time favorite books, My Antonia, by Willa Cather. It's a bit like Little House on the Prairie but for grown-ups! I love to reread favorite books...it's like meeting up with an old friend. :)

  91. no , its a book about a dark skinned girl that went to a school just for dark skinned people . But now the school is closing and she has to go to a light skinned school. The school year just ended and her old teacher tells all the kids that were in her class to write a letter to there new teacher. And lets just say she was being very honest about how she felt going there.
