Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Steuwe were caught reading some of the new Red Clover books!! I think they thought they could get away with it because of their disguises....but we've seen those mustaches before!

Do you see the book that Mrs. Miller is reading? It is called One Cool Friend. I predict that this book will be one of the top choices for Red Clover winner next year! The boy in this story goes to a museum and comes home with a penguin!! What kind of animal would you like to bring home from the zoo? I'm thinking maybe a koala or a giraffe!!

DeleteI've read a lot this summer and have been meaning to come on this blog. I've read the first and second Big Brain series, Harriet the Spy, Can You a Secret, and I'm on the third book of the Hunger Games. I read a manga graphic novel series (21 books) my sister said I could finally read. They took much longer to read than you would think. Oh yeah, manga is a way to write a book backwards. So you start reading the book from the left side, in this certain type of manga you started reading at the top left, then read down from left right. Very confusing and VERY hard to explain.
ReplyDeleteHi Molly! I can see why the manga books took a while to read. Just getting used to the different layout of the book would take me a bit to get used to. The Great Brain books were some of my favorites as a kid! Are you getting all set for the Middle School? You AND mom starting a new school! How fun!
